Housing Options for Older People (HOOP) is a technique for appraising options.
It takes the form of a questionnaire, asking you to focus in turn on different aspects of your home situation - size, condition, comfort, location, managing, costs and so on. It is designed for use by older people themselves, or working with an advisor.

Once completed HOOP will provide suggestions and links to useful websites that may be able to help you change your situation or help you find a solution. The questionnaire will help identify what information you require, and then lead you to it, allowing you to overcome housing difficulties.
FirstStop local partners are organisations that have agreed to work closely with EAC and its national FirstStop partners to help older people make informed choices about their housing and care needs.
