Founded in 1983 as the PPP Medical Trust, The Health Foundation is an independent charity whose aim is a healthier population, supported by high quality health care that can be equitably accessed.
Spending around £30 million a year, it carries out research and policy analysis into health and runs improvement programmes to put ideas into practice in the NHS, support and develop leaders and share evidence to encourage wider change.
