People with sight loss can find information and help at both the Royal National Institute of the Blind and Action for Blind People.

The Royal National Institute of the Blind (RNIB) together with Action for Blind People provides information and advice on eye conditions and treatments, advice and help on living with sight loss including counselling and job opportunities, and access to a library service for the visually impaired or blind.

RNIB Connect Radio (previously Insight Radio) is a radio station that is part of RNIB and was Europe's first radio station for blind and partially sighted listeners. It broadcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week online and on Freeview channel 730.
