NEST is a workplace master trust pension scheme that has been designed for automatic enrolment.

NEST is a new pension provider set up by the UK Government to guarantee that all employers will have access to a pension scheme which they can utilise to fulfil their pension auto-enrolment obligations.

It's a non-departmental public body (NDPB) that operates at arm's length from government and is accountable to Parliament through the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

Although designed primarily for smaller companies NEST is available to all employers regardless of size, salary levels, staff turnover or industry.

NEST is designed for employers to use as the only pension scheme on offer to their employees, or to run alongside other pension schemes which may be in place.

It is an easy to use online pension scheme that puts savers in control. It's easy for members of NEST to find out what's happening with their account. NEST uses plain language and provides straightforward information.

You have a single pension pot that stays with you so you can continue to contribute if you move jobs or give up work.

NEST Pensions  will be operated by The NEST Corporation, a not-for-profit trustee corporation and will be regulated by the Pensions Regulator.

For full details of the NEST Pension scheme go to the NEST website or to the Which? website.
