FirstStop Advice is an independent, impartial and free service offering advice and information to older people, their families and carers about housing and care options for later life.
The FirstStop service is provided by the Elderly Accommodation Counsel (EAC) in partnership with a number of other national and local organisations, bringing together a wide range of expertise to help older people explore the options and choices open to them.
They are able to provide specialist help on any aspect of care, support or housing for elderly people, including financial issues as well as statutory rights and entitlements, as detailed in the following links:
